A message from our MD

We have recently celebrated our 22nd anniversary of trading and looking back so much has changed within our sector and within our business. When our founders Hugh and Peter created impart links, they did so on the back of the recently published “Egan Report” and “Rethinking Construction” agenda and they adopted the core values of Partnering as the driver for the business.

In our formative years, collaborative working was our mantra and our service offering was focused on partnered procurement, open book cost management and relationship based dispute resolution. Although we operated nationally our core business was delivered in the South West, through a team of qualified, experienced and directly employed staff working even in pre-pandemic times predominantly from home offices Impart links has had to move with the times to maintain financial stability and economic viability: banking crisis, recession, austerity, Brexit, pandemic and war have all shaped the social housing sector, impacting policy, strategy and spend.

To maintain our viability we have observed the changing trends and varied our service offering to meet them, still delivering our core service whilst adding stock condition, contract administration, and service review to our offer. Our largest amendment to service came in 2015 with an opportunity for Impart links to actually deliver social housing maintenance work. We employed operatives, purchased plant and transport and successfully delivered our first contract.

Now we provide annually over £2 million of maintenance services throughout the East and West Midlands for over 20 Social Housing Registered Providers through Frameworks and tendered opportunities. Impart links Consultancy (ILC), Impart links Maintain (ILM) and Impart links Property (ILP) operate independently within the Impart links group: governed by confidentially, charted by RICS but joined by the professionalism of our founding principals.
