Our Team

A Quantity Surveyor by profession, James cut his teeth commercially managing construction projects for large multi national contractors before joining the senior management team of a national social housing service provider. James is operationally responsible for all of Impart links activities whilst ‘trying hard’ at golf and following his beloved Derby County.

Shane is the Operations Director for Impart Links Consultancy (ILC). Working on projects and in interim asset management roles, Shane also oversees all consultancy activity in the UK and Ireland.

Shane is a member of the Institute of Directors.

A housing professional who has worked for registered providers in the UK and Australia managing large maintenance programmes. Has seen the “other side of the fence” by working for national housing contractors, but has an in depth knowledge of the key issues, constraints and resolutions for both. Dave now heads up Impart links stock condition surveying service whilst maintaining his keen interest in music and sport.

Paul started off his career as an apprentice with an engineering firm. Paul then moved on to gain qualifications in the construction industry and quickly became a site supervisor within construction companies. After gaining Health and Safety qualifications, Paul went onto to teach Health and Safety in the construction environment, along with various other courses. He went onto being south Birmingham area maintenance supervisor for various Retirement Schemes across ECCT. Paul is now one of our Contracts Managers and he runs all our maintenance projects in the West Midlands. Paul Loves nothing more than spending time with his two Children and following Aston Villa.

Alex was our first apprentice, and having gained his honours degree last year, he now works as a junior QS and site manager for our ILM business. He also gets involved with ILC as needed. Residing in the Midlands, he has somehow been drawn to supporting Arsenal and that is how he spends most of his spare time.

An IT Graduate who started her career at Impart Links doing data capturing. She is now our Administration Manager helping assist with the day to day running of the company. She has a keen interest in films and comedy.

Luke has joined us fresh out of college to join our Fire Door installation team.

Richard spent 20 Years in the Vehicle Manufacturing Industry prior to joining the construction sector with a hope for some “outside work” – Since joining Impart links we have kept Richard firmly indoors completing “multi skilled” activities on our voids work-streams and pre-commencement tasks on the planned work for our extra-care customers. Richard does maintain his suntan on the golf course and cycling around Derbyshire.

Harvey joined ILM in 2022 as a bricklayer in training, and currently works with our multi- skilled external works teams, completing ad-hoc repairs, and project based works including fencing, grounds works, bricklaying, paving and other aspects as required.

Paul completed bricklaying in college then worked on site for 2 years as a bricklayers labourer/skilled labourer. He has now joined our growing groundswork team as an external operative working on many groundwork projects for Derby Homes.

With years of experience across multiple industries, Peter is our expert H&S advisor, assisting our in house team on ensuring our H&S practices and paperwork meet and surpass required standards.

Gordon Qualified in B.Sc. Property Planning & Development in 2000 in DeMontfort University Leicester. Moved immediately thereafter to San Francisco to further his career completing various further studies as an Associate of American Association of Chartered Surveyors. Returning to Ireland in 2003, to work with O’Briens Sandwich Bars and completing an M.Sc. Construction Project Management, Portsmouth University 2006. During the Irish recession Gordon worked as an engineer in the Maritime Industry getting qualified in Plumbing Gas & Water, HVAC Technician, Electrician, Hydraulics Engineering and any other modules in Advanced Maritime Engineering Operators Licence. This has furthered his knowledge of all systems required to operate a building of any size. Outside of work, Gordon is mostly surfing the west coast of Ireland, Mid Atlantic on a sailboat or enjoying family time. 

Our operative Dave has over 15 year experience as a plumber, he has recently joined Impart links in 2024 to help us with installing Wetrooms and Bathrooms for Oadby & Wigston Council and Nuneaton and Bedworth Council
